Job Description

Business Development Responsibilities

  • Daily sales activity and developing new business opportunities through local connections, networking and cold call selling.
  • Compiling and creating own sales contacts and leads
  • Conducting telephone sales calls and in-person meetings with new and existing clients
  • Developing proposals, negotiating contracts and pricing business with current and prospect clients
Recruiting Responsibilities
  • Aggressive recruiting, hiring and placing candidates in contract to hire and direct hire positions in light industrial and clerical positions.
  • Conduct thorough interviews and pre-employment screening with candidates presenting/submitting only candidates that will match not only the job description and requirements, but also the culture of the client.
  • Obtain detailed assignment information from customers and utilize it to provide effective customer service.
  • Interview and assess applicants using to evaluate their qualifications for assignments.
  • Administer the training of temporary employees to upgrade their skills for assignments.
  • Fill customer work orders with qualified temporaries.
  • Monitor temporary employee attendance and performance using the phone and performance surveys.
  • Troubleshoot to resolve the problems or complaints of customers and temporaries.
  • Coach and counsel temporaries to ensure quality performance and job satisfaction.
  • Implement company award programs to recognize the good performance of temporaries.
Job Requirements
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent selling, negotiation, communication and problem solving skills in a fast-paced business environment.
  • A combination of account development and account management skills are required for this position.
  • Fearless ability to cold call and market to senior level decision makers of small to large size companies
  • Must be a self-starter with high energy that is capable of functioning in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, communication and listening skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain business/client relationships within the staffing field through effective communication and negotiation
